What is your education/background?
I was born in Wyoming – My family lived in Seattle for a few years and then moved back to Wyoming to raise Arabian Horses. I attended the University of Wyoming and graduated in 2007 with my BA. I moved to Denver that same year and began working downtown for a tech company. I worked there for 6 years, went to a consulting firm for a couple years, and in my last role I was in software sales. After being in more of a corporate environment for most of my career, I decided I wanted to go in another direction with my life which brought me to RMBC.

Favorite part of working for RMBC:
I love the laid back environment, the fabulous people, the option to travel a bit, and I’m absolutely fascinated by the barrels. Each barrel has a unique story behind it which is all in all very cool. I also just love old wood – one day I’ll learn how to refurbish old furniture or build a distressed wood wall in my house.

Favorite beer/alcoholic beverage:
Wine, wine, and more wine. Red preferably. Although a nice crisp white is also good when it’s hot outside. I also enjoy a good sour beer as well.

Area of expertise in life/what are you really good at/hobbies:
I love hiking and camping, brunching (with a good bloody mary of course), reading, and playing with my kiddos. I also grew up equestrian riding so I enjoy that as well.

THOMAS LEDDER
Sales Associate / Purveyor of Fine Wood

Born on a stormy night to a bitch of a Mother. Had to claw my way out of the womb, and thus the story begins.

Favorite part of working for RMBC:
Hard smelly wood all day every day! It’s doing wonders for my waist line.

Favorite beer/alcoholic beverage:
Right now, I’m loving being sober.

Area of expertise in life/what are you really good at/hobbies:
Cooking, eating, thinking life evolves around me.

STEVE DURSO
Senior Sales Executive

What is your education/background?
I was born and raised in Massachusetts half way between Boston and the Cape. I went to college at Quinnipiac University while also taking my talents to Spain for a semester and ended up traveling throughout Europe. I couldn’t kick the traveling bug and wound up visiting some pretty cool places before ending up here in Colorado where I now call home. For me, it’s all about having a tight group of family and friends to share experiences with; experiences I get from keeping an open mind, meeting new people, traveling to new places, and learning new traditions along the way.

Favorite part of working for RMBC:
There’s something about the fresh smell of bourbon barrels siting in the warehouse that really kickstarts your Monday morning

Favorite beer/alcoholic beverage:
Homemade Anisette

Area of expertise in life/what are you really good at/hobbies:
Ask me about my Good Will Hunting monologue…

MALLORY BAILEY
Director of Business Development

What is your education/background?
I grew up in New Mexico and attended New Mexico State for a year before moving to Australia. I lived there for three years, got the best tan of my life, and received my B.A. in 2012. Three years of Skype phone calls had me at the end of my rope so I left the sand for the slopes and made my way over to Denver in 2013.

Favorite part of working for RMBC:
Probably making videos around the shop for Instagram. I hope other people find them just a fraction as entertaining as my mom and I do. Otherwise, just barreling out of control. We are lucky enough to get to travel a fair amount and are encouraged to spend time with our clients. Turns out the industry is full of really unique, interesting people to meet!

Favorite beer/alcoholic beverage:
Oh that’s tough. I love a good Pale Ale, but I run into so many types of beer that I’m always trying to keep going for things I’ve never had before.

Area of expertise in life/what are you really good at/hobbies:
If “In-House 90’s R&B and Hip Hop Lyricist” was a position, I would apply. I also like to travel, attend live music shows, take my dog places so she can distribute kisses, and skiing!

ERIN BURDICK
Accounting Clerk

What is your education/background?
I am a Colorado native who is currently studying Psychology at Red Rocks Community College and within one class away from receiving my Associates of Arts. I’m possibly thinking of minoring in Psychology and majoring in Business; decisions, decisions!

Favorite part of working for RMBC:
Definitely working with the RMBC crew. I wake up every day looking forward to come to work because we all have a great time no matter what is going on, and everyone has an awesome sense of humor. Dylan’s singing in the back definitely adds to the entertainment. Getting to meet all the brewers and distillers that come in as well is pretty fantastic too. Everyone is pretty down to earth and fun to get to know.

Favorite beer/alcoholic beverage:
Hmmm, I definitely enjoy a good sour or pale ale as well. If I’m not sipping back a beer, I love anything that has whiskey in it!

Area of expertise in life/what are you really good at/hobbies:
Anything and everything hockey. I live and die for it. The Colorado Avalanche are my number one team, however the Chicago Blackhawks have also captured my hockey soul as well. In general though, I just love the sport and the thrill you get from watching it. If going to concerts counts as a hobby as well, well count me in! I can’t carry a tune in bucket, but don’t doubt that I won’t sing whatever I’m singing anyway. You can always catch me in the summer months, windows down and music blaring (to slightly muffle my voice) and dancing. Other than that I am big on family and friends and enjoy spending most of my time with them.

SHEILA BAKER
Logistics Coordinator

What is your education/background?

I grew up in Biloxi, MS and have led a nomadic lifestyle since having lived all over the country in some pretty fantastic places. I went to college at the Art Institute in Chicago and graduated with a degree in Fashion Design. Somehow I jumped over to shipping things and have shipped everything from subscription boxes to missile parts to now barrels. I love kitties and puppies and all the fluffies and I am currently in training to be an old cat lady.

Favorite part of working for RMBC:
The people…..definitely the people. From coworkers to customers to vendors, there are fascinating people in every facet of this business and I count myself lucky to be able to grow from the experiences.

Favorite beer/alcoholic beverage:I read an article once that said only psychopaths drink gin……..SO GIN!

Area of expertise in life/what are you really good at/hobbies:
I love the outdoors and Colorado is perfect for just that. I spend my mornings hiking before work or weekends skiing in the mountains. I have a love affair with my bikes (mountain and road) and there’s nothing better than a beautiful mountain view.
