What is your education/background?
I was born in Wyoming – My family lived in Seattle for a few years and then moved back to Wyoming to raise Arabian Horses. I attended the University of Wyoming and graduated in 2007 with my BA. I moved to Denver that same year and began working downtown for a tech company. I worked there for 6 years, went to a consulting firm for a couple years, and in my last role I was in software sales. After being in more of a corporate environment for most of my career, I decided I wanted to go in another direction with my life which brought me to RMBC.

Favorite part of working for RMBC:
I love the laid back environment, the fabulous people, the option to travel a bit, and I’m absolutely fascinated by the barrels. Each barrel has a unique story behind it which is all in all very cool. I also just love old wood – one day I’ll learn how to refurbish old furniture or build a distressed wood wall in my house.

Favorite beer/alcoholic beverage:
Wine, wine, and more wine. Red preferably. Although a nice crisp white is also good when it’s hot outside. I also enjoy a good sour beer as well.

Area of expertise in life/what are you really good at/hobbies:
I love hiking and camping, brunching (with a good bloody mary of course), reading, and playing with my kiddos. I also grew up equestrian riding so I enjoy that as well.

Area of expertise in life/what are you really good at/hobbies:
Spent 6 years at Avery Brewing Company creating barrel aged beer. Little dabbling in the art of Rock Climbing and making monkey noises. Love to cook and eat and drink.

STEVE DURSO
Sales Guy

What is your education/background?
I was born and raised in Massachusetts half way between Boston and the Cape. I went to college at Quinnipiac University while also taking my talents to Spain for a semester and ended up traveling throughout Europe. I couldn’t kick the traveling bug and wound up visiting some pretty cool places before ending up here in Colorado where I now call home. For me, it’s all about having a tight group of family and friends to share experiences with; experiences I get from keeping an open mind, meeting new people, traveling to new places, and learning new traditions along the way.

Favorite part of working for RMBC:
There’s something about the fresh smell of bourbon barrels siting in the warehouse that really kickstarts your Monday morning

Favorite beer/alcoholic beverage:
Homemade Anisette

Area of expertise in life/what are you really good at/hobbies:

ERIN BURDICK

What is your education/background?
Born and raised Colorado native! I have my Associate of Arts in Psychology from Red Rocks Community College, however, after growing with RMBC and becoming part of the accounting department, I have found I really enjoy the role and look forward to getting my degree in accounting!

Favorite part of working for RMBC:
There are so many parts! The awesome crew, getting to meet the brewers and distillers from some of my favorite places, and of course, the barrels! I love getting to see the different varieties come through, watching them come full circle by trying a beer or spirit from a client, or seeing what our furniture customers create!

Favorite beer/alcoholic beverage:
I love IPAs, sours, and stouts! A good bloody mary or anything with whiskey in it is also delicious!

Area of expertise in life/what are you really good at/hobbies:
Hockey! The Colorado Avalanche captured my love for the sport at a young age and I haven’t stopped being a fan since! During the few months without hockey, you can find me at a concert, camping or hiking. I also love to cook, eat and spend time with my friends and family!

PAM MARTIN

What is your education/background?
Farmers daughter, born in Chile raised in Cameroon and Santiago. Studied business at Lindenwood University and moved to Denver three years ago; mainly because I love the mountains and they remind me of home. Transitioned from the Tech industry earlier this year and it’s the best decision I’ve made thus far. Got married this October in the Smokies and looking forward to life in the Rockies!

Favorite part of working for RMBC:
For sure the crew!

Favorite beer/alcoholic beverage:
Apricot beer and Chilean red wine hands down!

Area of expertise in life/what are you really good at/hobbies:
Amateur empanada chef, slight potato & avocado obsession, World Cup fanatic, mountain lover and paw parent of two.
I’m always down to check out some art, open-mic nights and new breweries.

ANDY GIESEN

What is your education/background?
My background originates in music, which brought me out from Minnesota the first time, in 2001. After graduating from CU-Denver in 2005, I returned to MN to work at an indie rap label for a nice spell before dabbling in Corporate America, which brought me to a Purchasing Agent role at Surly Brewing. When Skyler came calling to replace an irreplaceable person, I jumped at the opportunity and made the big move, again.

Favorite part of working for RMBC:
I love the exposure to new spirits and wines I never knew existed, and it’s allowed me to travel more than I thought I’d be able. Our impromptu Friday “Slap the Bag” sessions are pretty stellar.

Favorite beer/alcoholic beverage:
My favorite beverage is a 100% rye, neat. Or Slow Pour Pils. Or a Merlot.

Area of expertise in life/what are you really good at/hobbies:
I’m a pro at eating my meals slower than everyone at the table, always being cold, being the oldest person in the office, and cribbage. I’ll take anyone, anytime for a race to 121. I’m also pretty good at crashing my bike… But I live to consume music in nearly all forms, and swapping show stories is a favorite pastime.
