Islay Scotch Whiskey Barrels

The #1 peated scotch in the world (according to our CEO Skyler Weekes!). You can smell the PEATY from these casks 20 feet away.

Because there are many different forms and types of scotch whisky we will keep this very simple for our barrel purposes. Scotch is a malt whisky or grain whisky made in Scotland. All scotch whisky must be aged in oak barrels for at least three years. They can be new, neutral, ex wine. Literally anything oak. We usually sell two types, peated and non-peated. Peat is a type of moss that is used to give the scotch an essence of smoke. You can smell these types of whisky a mile away. Islay region has some of the most peated scotches.
